Cinch Stables is happy to announce three new programs;
Our Volunteer Program, Leadership Training & Employment!

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Cinch offers an extensive volunteer program for their students as well as others who qualify. Volunteers receive training in Stable Management, Horsemanship and People Skills. Our volunteers range in age from as young as eleven years old to "empty nesters" and retirees.

We at Cinch have helped hundreds of folks reach their goals over the past thirty years. Some become volunteers to have the opportunity to experience the horse world first hand. Many students also volunteer to accelerate their riding and overall horsemanship skills. Others, who are considering purchasing their first horse, volunteer to better prepare themselves as future horse owners. Many of our young volunteers are striving to attain various employment opportunities; part time, summer or even careers in the horse industry.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING COURSE

Cinch offers students as well as the general public an excellent leadership training program in conjunction with summer day camps. You must be at least twelve years old with an adequate level of maturity as well as experience in riding and horsemanship.

This CIT (Counsellor In Training) course is a fun and innovative week long program. Students expand both horsemanship and people skills. Safety principles are a top priority. Students gain a wealth of hands on experience throughout the week as they learn the art of counselling less experienced horse lovers. Successful completion of this course earn students a certificate of achievement and may include an invitation to return in future as a helper or counsellor.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Cinch offers a wide range of employment opportunities to qualified candidates.

Summer Camps employ the following:

• Junior and Senior Camp Counsellors.

• Head Riding Instructors.

• Swimming Instructor qualified to teach Red Cross Swim Classes.
  (Level 1 through 12)

Year round part time coaching:

• Junior Riding Instructors must be qualified and familiar with our programs and horses.
