“In 2003 my husband surprised me by booking us a semi private lesson at Cinch Stables for my 47th birthday.  That first semi private lesson turned into 4 or 5 more years of semi private lessons.  As our confidence grew we joined a group for lessons.  For the next 7 years we participated in these group lessons every Sunday morning.  Riding every week was a fun and physically challenging activity that my husband and I enjoyed doing together.  Our first goal was to get good enough that we could go on a riding vacation.  Our first riding vacation was in Quebec in the Laurentian Mountains, then Peru in the Andes Mountains.  After all those wonderful experiences we decided to purchase our own two percheron/paint cross mares.  It is because of our years of training with Cinch Stables that we had the confidence to buy and stable our own horses.  We look forward to our golden years with these horses as they give us reason to keep active and fit…thank you Leslie and Cinch Stables!”
