The quality of board for your horse can be judged by location, facilities and care. Cinch Stables is located on a paved road in picturesque London adjacent to the beautiful Komoka Provincial Park and is just:
- 10 minutes to downtown London
- 2 minutes to Riverbend and Byron subdivisions
- 10 minutes to Highway 402
- 15 minutes to Highway 401
Upon arriving, the nicely manicured property welcomes you with a large grass/tree bordered parking area. Inside, the stables are open and airy with high ceilings. Individual box stalls with white half walls and barred uppers provide great ventilation as well as vision throughout the barns. A tack room allocated just for boarders provides a private space for tack storage. Riding will become a year round hobby at Cinch. The 20,000 square feet outdoor sand-riding paddock is beautiful. Lined with big shade trees down one side, it boasts terrific lighting for evening riding. Professionally graded to maximize drainage it can be used most times of the year.
For those days too wintry, too rainy or too hot to ride comfortably outdoors the indoor arena becomes a rider’s oasis. Professional metal halide lighting provides a bright white light sure to cheer you up on those ‘indoor riding days’. The arena stands alone with 360 degrees of clear plexiglas panels to bring the outdoors in for you as you ride. No hay, sawdust or equipment is ever stored in the arena allowing the full 6,500 square feet for riding. A corner viewing area closed in with tempered glass provides a perfect space for spectators to watch from.
Your horse will enjoy his/her home here at Cinch. Turned out daily, a horse can live ‘a horse’s life’ roaming the 20 plus acres of pasture with a year round supply of fresh water thanks to the plumbed outdoor water bowls. Insides the stables are open, spacious and airy. Horses can see one another throughout the barns. Stalls are cleaned daily. Bedding is virtually dust free. Stall floors have rubber matting. Horses are fed four times a day. They enjoy the best hay possible - rich second cut hay high in protein, made up of a mix of alfalfa and other grasses. The good feed shows up in their healthy lustrous coats.
Rounding off your horse’s life at Cinch, an excellent farrier arrives regularly each five to six weeks to care for your horse’s feet. Cinch uses the Ilderton Equine Services veterinarians for both regular maintenance health care and emergency care if ever needed. Location, facilities and care are three very good reasons to consider Cinch Stables for your horse.
